Theaster Gates is an American Social Practice installation artist. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, where he still lives and works. He has transformed a south side bank he purchased for $1.00 after it stood abandon for more than 30 years, into an amazing community center for all.

My feature Artist this week is the creative artist of deceptive desserts. Since her frightening and mind blowing debut of her Monster House on Daily Mail, I have been a huge fan.
