Esmeralda
Poor Esmeralda with her haunting eyes,
Showing her secrets. Revealing her lies.
Some even say, "she was corrupted inside.
Alone was Esmeralda who was both witty and wise.
Trapped in a world she both pitied and despised.
With her mind plagued by dark thoughts,
Where demons would lie.
She traded her suffering for an untimely demise.
Adorned in a jeweled dress she stepped into the light,
Stood by her bay window and took her own life.
Showing her spectators her hollowed inside.
Now from the shadows she lingers she spies,
Gazing upon us with wondering eyes.
A poem written by Angel Taylor.
Inspired by the 7 day’s of creation and the Holy Spirit.
A whimsical thought provoking tale of obsession & addiction. A fantasy tale of a rare encounter between a Brown Bear & The Enchanted Emerald Fae. A terrifying reminder…not to wander too deep off into the forest, dreadful things are lurking there.
A dark gothic tale of horror. It spins the story of a tormented recluse hidden behind the walls of her castle. Its here we find a beautiful maiden who shy's away from a world she feels she no longer belongs. Misfortune follows in a deadly twist that leaves her a haunting ghost. She spends her nights prying into the very lives that tormented hers.
A dedicated love song to my first love. A story of two wanderer’s who decide to travel together. It is on the open see that one traveler starts to fall for his/or her companion. They confess their love and sail away into the horizon without hearing the response from the other.
This poem reads like a song. It’s almost like a sweet serenade for someone I love very deeply.
